Please have a look at the following scan, which shows at left a 100ø8 51 omv.rm. and at right a stamp, which I had bought many years ago as 100ø8 51, and which has as watermark only a half crown on the right side of the stamp (seen from the front - so it is from the first row):

Both have a yellow coloured line below the lower frame line under the small 100 in the oval, which is mentioned in the AFA special catalogue as characteristic for this position. By direct comparison of the two stamps I noticed the definite difference in the frame colour (which can be seen even better in the detailed scan), so they could not be from the same print:

Suddenly I was struck by the idea, that the oval cliche from 100ø8 51 was probably used before in 100ø7 in the first row !?
The position 71 was found by Lasse Nielsen in a block of eight - mange tak, Lasse!

So if anyone thinks he has an isolated inverted frame 100ø8 51, please check out again, that it's NOT the normal inverted frame 100ø7 pos.71...

PS: It would be interesting to find this oval in other prints also !?
